We are excited to invite you to join our new DigiUGov online course on digital teaching, specifically designed for university teachers, educators, and trainers. The course introduces state-of-the-art digital teaching tools, including AI avatars, to help you create dynamic and personalized learning experiences. Jhonattan Miranda and Leonardo Glasserman from Tecnologico de Monterrey, Mexico, and Marie Schneider and Johannes Freudenreich from PoGS developed this course.

Course Details

In this course, you will learn effective strategies to engage students online, ensuring that virtual learning translates into real-life interaction and meaningful discussion. You will master how to use digital platforms to encourage active participation, facilitate collaborative learning, and boost overall student engagement.

The course will enable you to

  • Understand the potential of innovative teaching tools such as AI avatars and chatbots (such as our DigiUbot)
  • Effectively integrate self-paced online modules into the classroom
  • Gain practical knowledge of innovative teaching tools
  • Improve your strategies for actively engaging students online
  • Ensure accessibility and inclusivity in digital teaching    

The course is offered in English and Spanish (coming soon). For the first cohort it will be open from 1 October to 31 October 2024. You will be asked to participate in an online evaluation after you have finished the course.
